The story of the Two Wolves

“A fight is going on inside every soul,” Elder said to the young one

“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

“The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.”

Young one thought about it for a minute and then asked elder, “Which wolf will win?”

Elder simply replied, “The one you feed.”

"But If we feed one other will hunger to death... Can't we feed both?"

"Even we feed kind one but it hurt another that is not kindness?"
